Job Description
General Summary
Responsible for preparing and serving a fresh and inviting presentation of the daily complimentary breakfast, giving a friendly greeting to each guest at breakfast and providing superior service to guests.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare foods such as cut fruit, coffee and juices etc.
  • Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
  • Return reusable food supplies to storage.
  • Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups and other paper/china products.
  • Take inventory of food, beverages and other supplies needed for each day.
  • Provide personalized service to all guests.
  • Periodically restock self-service food and supplies as needed.
  • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet in an attractive and abundant-looking, organized clean and standardized presentation.
  • Set out/arrange cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins and cereal for self service.
  • Wash china, flatware and serving equipment and return it to storage.
  • Remove trash.
  • Stock, coffee, juice and milk containers.
  • Extends a friendly greeting to each guest at breakfast.
  • Comply with health department rules and regulations with respect to handling, preparing
  • Organize and put away food order.
  • Order or purchase food supplies.
  • Warm and set out/arranging hot food such as hashbrowns, frenchtoast, etc.
  • Wipe up spills.
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum kitchen and dining areas.

Job Requirements
  • Must be able to bend, lift, push, carry and pull up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, be polite, courteous, and responsive to our guests.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • May require some reaching overhead, crouching, and twisting.
  • Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service.
