Job Description

Beehive Plumbing is looking to add a dynamic and passionate individual to support our accounting team. The Bookkeeper will assist the team in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments as well as create and analyze financial reports. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company with specific daily responsibilities for accounts payable, account receivables, and general financial accuracy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Recording of debits and credits
  • Update and maintain the general ledger
  • Reconciliation of entries
  • Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
  • Complies with Federal, State and Local legal requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; Filing reports and advising management on needed actions
  • Monitoring for variances from the projected budget
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
  • Assist in financial activities such as running payroll and generating invoices
  • Developing systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
