Board Member Jobs

American Dog Society's mission is to create better more educated dog parents to improve the lives of dogs and reduce the number of surrendered dogs by advocating, organizing resources, and connecting people all across the United States.

Board Members will create and manage the New York Chapter of American Dog Society. Great opportunity for networking while giving back to the community.

Having experience with the governance of a business (for-profit or non-profit) is a plus. We are Looking for people with all different skill sets, backgrounds, and networks.

First-year 1 meeting per month via Zoom/Google Meet for an hour is mandatory. The time and date will be voted on by the board. Anytime Monday - Thursday starting 5 PM to 8 PM.

Each Board Member is expected to donate financially and help fundraise. Min donation of $1000, min fundraising a year of $500.

Must be passionate about dogs and helping to create better dog parents (you don't need to currently have a dog).
