Posting Summary

Repair, calibrate, install and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of complex medical instruments. Perform duties including repair service, performance inspection, and customer support in the management of clinical technology. Provide training and direction to junior staff as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Associate’s degree in in biomedical technology or electronics and four to five years related experience required. Eligibility to take CBET Certification test required. Effective communication, customer service and computer skills required. Valid driver’s license and driver’s check required. Successful completion of a background check required. Lifting up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions.

Desirable Qualifications

Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician desirable.
