You are responsible for

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting business objectives.
  • Developing/learning how to proactively identify issues and provide creative, comprehensive solutions for customer which go beyond simple break/fix.
  • Seeking out opportunities to increase capability and capacity.
  • Adopting, developing, and implementing best practices within local site and across multiple work teams.
  • Assessing situations and making correct decisions regarding whether to engage others (i.e.: escalation) or handle alone, while collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues, while providing the customer with the appropriate communication and involving appropriate site service personnel.
  • Acting as a resource in response to customer inquiries and communicates only appropriate information.
  • Eligible candidates must live within commuting distance to the hospital; work is 100% on site.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by adhering to equipment coverage level, setting clear expectations, meeting commitments and arrival times, while understanding customer's business and competitive environment.
  • Proactively scheduling activities and making him/herself available to assist others.
  • Maintaining knowledge of technical advances, compliance standards and current industry trends.
  • Demonstrating ownership in difficult customer circumstances, showing a sense of urgency about delivering results, and establishing the priorities of the moment by assessing the priorities communicated by the Site Team or the customer at multiple levels.
  • Providing a positive cohesive company image, across business lines, when discussing the company, products, etc. with the customer, all while establishing credibility and trust.
  • Performing preventative maintenance and service repairs on equipment, while utilizing the service manual, OJT, OEM, or 3rd Party training.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Understanding of the fundamentals of networking technologies and troubleshooting methods.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • PC competency, including basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Customer requirements may include, but are not limited to drug testing and immunizations as dictated by the customer or facility policy.
  • Ability to work cohesively and communicate effectively with various levels of employees and customers both verbally and in writing.
  • CBET certification (a plus).
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical devices and tools, test equipment, electronic circuit boards, processors and computer hardware (i.e., applications, programming, and systems functionality).
  • Strong organizational skills, self-disciplined, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a team driven environment and share knowledge to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Associate degree or 3+ years of experience servicing/repairing biomedical equipment.
