Job Description

The Billing & Reconciliation Analyst supports the Accounting department in managing the day to day accounting and finance requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, posting information, creating and paying invoices to customers and clients, reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and consolidating information for payouts.


Main responsibilities include:


  • Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information
  • Inspect paid and unpaid invoices including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding to maintain accurate files and records according to company standards
  • Research information to provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendors at multiple locations
  • Review automatic payments to ensure correct coding and authorization as well as sufficient contracts and documentation
  • Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used
  • Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule and match the check with backup for review by the Controller
  • Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment
  • Monitor account balances, track expenses, prepare analysis of accounts and related financial activity to produce monthly financial reports

This position requires experience in QuickBooks Online, working knowledge of bookkeeping and GAAP, the ability to multitask while adhering to tight deadlines and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.


Experience


  • Preferred experience working in a collections or a similar field

Education


  • Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is required
