OBJECTIVE:
Under direction of the Director of Front Office Operations, this positions primary function is to provide superior guest service to arriving and departing guests. Services include transporting of baggage to and from guest accommodations, as well as addressing any guests’ concerns by providing accurate and efficient information and direction.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold and high humidity. This position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs., kneel, bend, and stand for long lengths of time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting.
2. Cleans the Bell Desk and Bag-check Room.
3. Ensures efficient and superior service in all guest requests and follow through.
4. Documents and handles all services administered by the Bell Desk.
5. Delivers and picks-up of guest laundry as well as the daily newspaper delivery.
6. Ensures a positive experience for every guest every time.
7. Ensures behavior reflects a positive image acceptable to the BVR standards.
8. Transports guest’s baggage upon arrival and departure.
9. Ensures all guest complaints are resolved in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
10. Accepts but never solicits gratuities.
11. Cleans and cares all brass luggage carts and electric golf carts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Problem solving, good grooming, and oral and written skills
Ability to meet deadlines, deal with changes, perform detailed work, work independently, and work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work flexible schedule
Excellent communication and guest service skills a must.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 1-year hospitality experience required
Previous experience in resort hospitality a plus
Past work in a four or five star, diamond property preferred
