Behavioral Health Coordinator Jobs

Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Nurse Coordinator has a primary responsibility for the behavioral health registries, accreditation and data analytics for the program. Monitors program key performance metrics and accreditation requirements. In coordination with the program administrator, system director, medical director, and clinical team, monitors quality standards of care, professional documentation, oversight and development of policies and procedures, and program certification. Uses data analytics to promote shared decision making and drives progress and performance improvement. Develops performance improvement initiatives and acts as a resource and facilitates collaboration between all health care disciplines throughout the organization and within the healthcare community. Promotes ongoing development of all staff and for maintaining a professional environment in which all staff can grow and develop.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience
• American Heart Association BLS
• Preferred: Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric care
• Experience with DNV-GL accreditation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in a healthcare related field
• Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
• Professional experience with data analytics

Essential Job Functions:

• Continuously assesses, measures and improves program performance through data analytics and report writing.
• Drives program performance improvement tactics and trainings for team members.
• Assists leaders with broad operations to ensure the provision of comprehensive program services are in compliance with all regulatory agencies and hospital requirements.
• Leads, teaches, inspires, helps and consistently demonstrates organizational behavioral standards
• Assists leaders to ensure a collaborative approach to planning, care design and development of policies and procedures, which reflect the mission of the organization.
