Behavioral Caregiver- Weekly Pay $23-$28

Behavior Caregivers at Maxim Healthcare Services provide 1:1 direct care for our patients living with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. We aim to provide respite care with the implementation of a behavioral support plan to reduce challenging behaviors and create a safe environment for families and clients. Our Behavior Caregivers work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement a behavioral care plan and keep track of the clients’ progress through each session. This care plan will improve the clients' interaction, socialization, and continuation of daily routines.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Implements the goals/objectives for an individual child as defined in the treatment plan
• Provides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
• Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
• Provides one-to-one behavior intervention services to individual clients as instructed by Clinical Leadership and based on individual treatment plans as written by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Assists client with personal care activities
