Job Description
  • Each classroom will have two teachers serving in a co-teaching model.
  • District Facts
  • Both teachers will have to have a BeGlad certification. One of the two teachers will be required to have an ELL endorsement.
  • BeGald Summer Academy Core, 2023.pdf
  • EL Skills Block will be used so teachers that have experience with Skills Block preferred but not mandatory.
  • Teachers will be expected to participate in a training session and plan for instruction prior to the summer school session. Teachers will be paid for up to 12 hours training sessions and planning prior to summer session.
  • Elementary Teacher -
  • A Certified Summer School Site Coordinator to serve as site administrator. This position will have or be working on administration licensing.
  • Teachers paid from 7:30-12:30 daily. Student hours 11:30-3:30p
  • Teachers will be compensated at the $30.00/hr rate
