Beginner Auto Technician Jobs

At Servco Auto Waipahu, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Beginner Technicians will service and repair Hawaii’s top selling vehicles, including and performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training.

Responsibilities:

• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications
• Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco vehicles
• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order
• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards
• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely

Requirements:

• Toyota and Chevy repair experience preferred
• Must be able to secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of being hired
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
• Must be able to work a 4/10 work schedule C shift Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday 7am to 6pm
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver’s license and strong driving record

Our Technicians are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive. They are also compensated for their ASE certifications and receive factory training in our climate controlled Hawaii training facility.
