Bed & Breakfast Assistant Innkeeper

We need an experienced Assistant Innkeeper for our beautiful, historic manor-style bed & breakfast inn. The Assistant Innkeeper will report to the Innkeeper, run the Inn, and supervise a team of Innkeepers and staff. Inn room lodging is available until nearby housing is found.

• Base salary in the $45,000 to $50,000 range, depending on experience - more if you have culinary experience and can help in the kitchen

As a Bed & Breakfast Assistant Innkeeper, your background should include the following:

• At least three years of experience as an Assistant Innkeeper or Assistant Manager for an upscale Inn, B&B, or boutique hotel with at least 15 accommodations, a team of at least six full-time employees, and an upscale dining room that is open to the public
• No smoking on the property
• Able to be a gracious host under pressure and in the thick of it
• Works hand-in-hand with the Innkeeper with a focus on strategic development, team leadership, and maintenance
• Tech savvy with prior responsibility for sales, digital and local marketing, Internet review sites, and general brand ambassador
• Able to assist the Innkeeper with operations and guest relations, including reservation system, front desk, inventory, cleaning, maintenance, team development, and inbound/outbound communications
