Viridian is a craft cocktail bar and restaurant located in Uptown Oakland offering contemporary small
dishes and desserts inspired by the Asian American experience. Our award-winning establishment has
received recognition from Forbes, Esquire, SF Chronicle, and more. We are looking for a part-time
barback to join our passionate and hospitality-driven team.
QUALIFICATIONS

• Passionate about food and cocktails
• Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Removal of trash
• Run drinks and food
• Ensure wells have items and materials needed to operate efficiently
• Help close down bar
• Establish/anticipate needs
• Keep guests water glasses filled
• Wipe tables and keep areas clean
• Deliver ice and stock glasses during the shift as needed
• Wash glasses and other tools by operation of washing machine
• Bus dishes and glassware
• Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile
• Assist servers, bartenders, and managers whenever necessary
