Banquet Staff Jobs

Waitstaff/ Server;

This position performs table service for dining room and banquet/catering events. This position serves food in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Job Knowledge

• Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary.
• Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
• Removes soiled dishes. Clears tables after each course and resets them with appropriate silverware.
• Greet and acknowledge members and guests.
• Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon entering the dining room.
• Distributes food; answers questions.
• Keeps dining room and all station areas clean.
• Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Ability to time the service of each course.
• Checks back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenishes water and butter as necessary.
• Is knowledgeable about the menu, buffet.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the manager.
• Serves meals; places dishes by courses in front of each person.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with the public in a routinely courteous and professional manner. Ability to work independently. Ability to follow specific instructions. Ability to lift 25 pounds routinely.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
