Back-End Software Engineer (Entry Level)

REMOTE (US/Canada Residing people only, with work permit) Patterned Learning – Back-End Software Engineer (Entry level) , FULL-TIME, Salary $90K - $110K a year & minimum 1+ years of work experience.

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Back-End Software Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient back-end systems. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement back-end systems
• Develop and maintain server-side code using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
• Write efficient and scalable code that adheres to industry best practices

Requirements

• Knowledge of web application frameworks (e.g., Spring, Django, Express)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong understanding of back-end development principles and concepts
• A strong desire to learn and grow as a software engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
