Position: Sr. Cloud Data Engineer / Data Engineer
Location: CO Denver (Hybrid - 2/3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
visa: Except OPT/CPT/H1 Any visa is fine.
Primary Skills: Python, Cloud Data Engineering & ETL, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar quantitative field.
• 9+ years of experience in the IT field with hands-on experience in system architecture and enterprise data.
• 5+ years of experience in architecting data and AI solutions on public cloud.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on expertise on Cloud with strong experience in working with modern data and analytics frameworks, big data, and DevOps techniques, and is proficient with programming languages (like Python, PySpark, Scala).
• 2+ years of experience in working with REST APIs.
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud data warehouse like Databricks and Snowflake.
• Expertise on building Data Lakes on Cloud environments - Data Integration, Data Pipeline, Data compute, ML Models and Storage, etc.
• Experience with Big Data and Stream processing frameworks like Spark. Knowledge of delta lake or similar technology.
• Exposure to operationalizing ML models at scale on Cloud. Report development experience is good to have.
• Solid understanding of Dev SecOps and cloud security concepts and how to mitigate security risks in the cloud.
• Good understanding of Scrum Agile methodology and have worked in an agile setup.
• Knowledge of SQL, non-relational (NoSQL) databases, and Object Stores.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with business leadership and technical teams.
