Role:AWS Engineer

Location:Columbus, OH/SFO, CA/Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain network and security measures, including IAM roles and policies, VPC configurations, security groups, and access controls.
• Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement cloud-based architectures, microservices, and serverless solutions on AWS.
• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EKS, ECS, Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS, Apache Kafka, and others.
• Implement event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, and Lambda functions to enable asynchronous communication and decoupling of components.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of AWS infrastructure using tools like CloudWatch, ensuring proactive alerting and response mechanisms.
• Utilize AWS databases like Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB for data storage, ensuring proper configuration, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Integrate AWS services with external systems using REST APIs, leveraging authentication frameworks for secure communication.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines, implementing deployment strategies and ensuring smooth application releases.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.
• Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications on EKS or ECS clusters, ensuring optimal performance and efficient resource utilization.
