Job Overview:


The Technology Operations leader will report to the technology executive responsible for the Technology foundations and Growth organization. The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative and possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills. The leader must be a creative problem solver who is able to bounce fluidly between minute details while staying attuned to the macro vision of the department. The incoming leader will be overseeing day-to-day operations allowing the technology executive and his senior management to focus on strategic priorities. As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence within the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage workforce planning which includes talent calibration, location strategy, staffing ratios. Oversee all aspects of headcount and staffing matters
  • Strong communication skills to promote awareness of accomplishments within and outside of LPL to attract talent.
  • Manage the governance and production of the executive-level dashboard, which includes key performance metrics that provide transparency into the effectiveness of the portfolio and strategic messaging aligned with corporate goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective management and reporting routines that allow the technology executive to focus on top priorities and strategy
  • Advocate helping transform the delivery culture through implementation of best practices and processes eliminating waste and work in process.
  • Prepare influential executive level presentations to facilitate fact-based business cases, recommendations, and program updates.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to the technology executive and their leadership team
  • Lean heavily into the voice of customers and employees to improve engagement
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop the annual budget that supports the organization’s strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technology teams and other partners to build the OKR dashboards to report on the results
  • Assist with the planning, preparation and facilitation of organization management routines (e.g. Strategy Offsite, Staff meetings, Executive Leadership Team Meetings, Town Halls).
  • Prepare executive level reports and presentations, including the Board of Directors, Management Committee and Executive Steering Committees.
  • Assist the Technology executive in creating department goals and operationalizing the business plan
  • Partner with the PMO to manage and oversee the portfolio financials, status and key watchouts/risks

Requirements:


  • Proven ability to convey a compelling story through executive level presentations in Powerpoint that effectively gets the point across.
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial services industry with consulting and/or operations
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills; a proven “closer”
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business; MBA Preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong executive presence

Pay Range:


$109,000-$163,500/year


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
