  • In 2023, Kuni BMW will move just a short distance to Tigard, Oregon where a state-of-the-art dealership will be built! The new climate-controlled workshop will be the centerpiece located on the bottom floor of the brand new, four-story facility. Holman is consulting with current service department employees to gather their input to make sure the new shop is efficient, easy to use, and will maximize technician comfort and efficiency.
What will you do?
Our BMW Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
  • Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
  • Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena
  • Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
What are we looking for?
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 + years of dealer-level or large facility experience
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to stay current by attending technical training schools and by reading shop manuals, technical bulletins, etc.
  • BMW/MINI Certified is highly desired, but not required
