Position Overview:

The Parts Delivery- Shipping and Receiving associate is responsible for ensuring the parts department can access the merchandise they seek by organizing product displays and storage. Their duties include counting inventory, adding price tags to items, and putting products on shelves according to an organized system. This role will also require the pick-up and delivery of parts and require an individual to have a favorable motor vehicle driving record.

Essential Functions:

• Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet operational expectations.
• Issue parts and accessories to mechanics from the parts counter and retail customers
• Use and operate warehouse equipment such as order selector, sit down/stand up, store, and shipping of parts.
• Delivery and pick up parts for customers and vendors
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Read, comprehend, and follow written, standardized work instructions and trained procedures.
• Learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes as business and staffing demands require.
• Understand, support, and safely execute all work and contribute to a culture that promotes safety as its overriding priority
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling)

Requirements

• This position will require walking and standing for long periods and bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and reaching to perform work duties. You may lift or carry materials weighing up to 20+ pounds and occasionally climb stairs.
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and a drug screen for illegal substances
• A favorable Motor Vehicle Record
• Authorized to work in the United States
