Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Spray test panels for each vehicle to ensure color match.
  • Assist in prep work when necessary.
  • Prepare color tint to match paint color; Mix paint colors, and ensure all formulations, preparations, and top coating standards for proper application sequence, timing, and materials usage.
  • Performs daily cleaning/vacuuming of the paint booth.
  • Follow all paint manufacturing guidelines.
  • Manage and control materials cost maximizing usage and inventory.
  • Responsible for following proper repair procedures and performing all refinishing assignments to restore damaged vehicles to their original structural appearance.
  • Ensure all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled before returning the vehicle to the body technician.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal.
  • Complete quality work, use air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc.


Position Requirements

  • 2-5 years of refinishing experience
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Ability to handle high production shop environment.
  • Ability to correctly complete all steps in the refinishing process.
