RESPONSIBILITIES & OPPORTUNITIES


  • Consult with customers to understand their needs, applications, and opportunities for improvements
  • Recommend solutions, and demonstrate new technologies and product solutions
  • Cultivate and prioritize strong customer and partner relationships
  • Maintain a high level of application and product expertise, as well as competency with complementary products
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and quotes to secure orders
  • Grow sales and generate new business


EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TALENTS


  • Effective listening, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of Power Distribution Systems - LV/MV Switchgear, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), Panelboards, Switchboards (not required, but a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Equivalent technical degree and/or experience will also be considered)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Knowledge of Industrial Networking (Understanding of Profinet & Profibus a plus)
  • Passionate about serving customers and facilitating partnerships
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to educate customers and provide product demonstrations
  • Drug screen and pre-employment aptitude tests are required
  • Knowledge of Industrial Automation & Control Systems including PLC, RIO, HMI, SCADA & Industrial PCs (Siemens experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation - Level, Pressure, Flow (not required, but a plus)
  • Ability to identify customer needs, present solutions and product recommendations, and close orders
  • Knowledge of VFD & Motor Control (Siemens experience a plus)
  • Frequent travel within the assigned area, which may include some overnight travel
