What the position is

Automation Engineer demonstrates ownership in successful deliveringboth, company and client, objectives at the project level.Our focus is quality, design, development and fulfillment of processes and automated solutions utilized by project execution.You will be supporting project teams in multiple capacities including developing documentation, design and process control implementation on various applications.

The initial role will focus on training and development to provide the right tools and knowledge to enable you to be successful, and then broaden your experience through implementation of process controls with MES recipe authoring.We encourage continuous improvement and hands-on environment, influencing change.Work will be performed remotely, and some travel will be required.

What you will do

• Support design activities and good understand of SDLC
• Support Automation projects from concept design through production release
• Understand customer’s manufacturing processes and implement of process control through MES and/or DCS system
• Assist in project plans consisting of deliverables, tasks, work packages, levels of effort, dependencies and schedules
• Ability to self manage tasks independently with minimal supervision; self driven
• Collaborate with Subject matter experts and Operations
• Manage and deliver assigned project tasks

Your experience

• 2+ years Experience as Systems Engineer, Process Engineer, Computer Engineer
• Basic knowledge of ISA standards
• Experience with Industrial Automation applications: POMSnet, Honeywell Manufacturing Control System (Experion PKS and Total Plant Batch applications), and Delta V
• Basic knowledge of GAMP
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Bioscience or equivalent combination of education and technical experience
• Programming experience is a plus
