Job Description

What you will be doing:

Managing the overall functions/processes of production for events, shows, audio and visual programming, etc., in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Applying hands-on audio, video, lighting, stage management, technical, and leadership experience to ensuring the maximum in client service, operational efficiency, employee development, and profitability levels. The Production Manager will also be expected to share their knowledge and expertise and mentor other team members regarding all advanced production equipment and operation techniques with the goal of raising the technical capability of the entire team.

Position Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt

Reports to: Director of Event Production or National Production Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Main point of contact for all aspects of production
  • Provide immediate response to requests for assistance to events in progress.
  • Provide solutions for presentation needs occasionally under high-pressure circumstances
  • Maintain positive employee relations
  • Utilize strong internal partnership skills while working cross-functionally with all internal and external teams to ensure that the project is implemented as required, and that client vision and satisfaction is met
  • Train and develop future Production Mangers
  • Other duties as required or assigned
  • Effectively utilize the company’s business software
  • Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self, as well as subordinates
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Establish a project plan for each portion of implementation and holding internal and external partners accountable
  • Effectively oversee production procedures in accordance with company policy
  • Continually increase technical and engineering skills and knowledge
  • Actively maintain and cultivate positive public relations with accounts

The Production Manager is an at will position, meaning employment is for no specified term and may be terminated at the will of either party on notice to the other with or without cause.
