Job Description

The National Conference Center is currently seeking a Full Time Audio Visual Manager. Responsibilities include actively prospecting and booking special events & meetings for external customers within the local, social, and corporate markets; planning all logistics of the events; building strong client relationships (repeat business is key to the success of this position); and achieving budgeted revenue goals.


POSITION SUMMARY:The National Conference Center is currently seeking a full time Audio Visual Manager who will be responsible for consistent delivery of Media Support Services through continual management of equipment, and daily delivery of service. Provides direction to AV staff to ensure maximum utilization of equipment and production services. Works closely with customers and staff to gather, record, and perform customer requirements with an emphasis on quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Responsible for the management of daily setup and strike of the AV equipment for meetings and events.

·Perform essential maintenance on AV equipment and maintain proper inventory.

·Ensures the daily labor and equipment requirements are met with internal and/or external resources.

·Ensures that proper billing practices are maintained.

·Supervises and mentors AV staff to ensure client satisfaction.

·Provides outstanding customer service by establishing excellent working relationships with employees, external clients, and vendors.

·Meet with guests on-site to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly.

·Perform other related duties as assigned.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: High School Graduate

Experience:

·Minimum of 5 years of experience with Audio/Visual Technologies including (but not limited to): sound, lighting, computer projection, stage production, etc.

·Must have knowledge of personal computers and software.

·Must have a minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience.
