Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team at the new orthopedic injury clinic at Progress West Hospital in O’Fallon, MO. Assist with diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of orthopedic injuries. Responsible for coordinating patient flow in clinic. Functions as Lead in Injury Clinic.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of the clinical care of pediatric and adolescent athletes – including diagnosis, preoperative education, surgery, postoperative follow up and rehabilitation.
  • Develop teaching materials to support patients and their families with sports injuries.
  • Working in a clinical setting, assisting providers with direct patient care.
  • Develop relationships with high school athletic trainers in St. Louis region.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Eligible for Missouri State Registration.
  • Minimum of two years of experience (clinical experience encouraged).
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: National Athletic Trainers Certification required.

Salary Range

$51,600.00 - $77,400.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
