We are seeking a PRN Athletic Trainer to cover middle schools football games in the Richmond, KY area. Game coverage is in Madison County at B. Michael Caudill Complex and the Farristown Complex for the five middle schools. These games are paid $50 per game.

Essential Functions of the Athletic Trainer Role

• Render first aid to injured players such as artificial respiration, cleaning and bandaging wounds, and applying heat and cold to promote healing
• Treat chronic minor injuries and related disabilities to maintain athletes’ performance
• Communicate with coaches, parents, clinical team, physician team and expanded healthcare team as needed
• Prescribe routine and corrective exercises to strengthen muscles

Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university required
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and training preferred. Newly licensed encouraged to apply.
• Unrestricted Athletic Trainer (ATC) licensure to practice in State of employment
