Job Description
Role Description


Handling all the production activity along with safety measure to ensure production


  • Ensure production of raw coal & Excavation of OB from specified section in respective shifts.
  • Comply to all the needs for any project related activities undertaken by the department.
  • Maintain all data related to statutes, production, productivity and other activities falling under your purview.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable Safety standards / procedures by sub-ordinates / contract employees.
  • Plan and implement measures to ensure compliance to KPI relating to productivity and quality as per ABP.
  • Ensure compliance of The Mines Act, C.M.R. Mines rules, statutory permissions, other statutory rules and regulations
  • Drive improvement related initiatives within the department.


Skills


  • Understanding of surveying
  • Working knowledge of improvement framework in TSL.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, etc.
  • Safety hazards and mitigation measures in opencast working.
  • Thorough understanding of Mines Act, CMR and related acts.
  • Knowledge of Face operations, drilling, blasting, dump & slop stability.
