Job Description
Overview
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Associate Video Producer
The Associate Video Producer is a hybrid role with the video team to create videos for various conservation programs including, but not limited to, Oceans, Forests, Food and Freshwater, Species, Markets, and Climate. They will work with video producers and other communicators to build compelling conservation stories and assets. The Associate Video Producer supports all phases of video projects in the studio and in the field as well as the editing of videos for various WWF channels and audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Research archival assets, stock footage, and music for a variety of video project needs
  • Develop and apply kinetic type and motion graphics
  • Assist with video production in studio and on field productions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform editing duties as assigned. Such duties shall include editing short form programmatic documentaries and clips for social media, marketing, and communications creative
  • Manage logistics for field shoots
  • Create video loops for events or as needed
  • Coordinate bookings for video sessions in a clean and orderly studio
  • Collaborate with designers to elevate 2D animation and motion graphics into branded videos
  • Create shot lists for B-roll packages, to be included in metadata for the workflow to the HIVE
  • Maintain organization and accuracy of metadata entries related to institutional communications, conservation issues, and brand continuity
  • Assemble stringouts of footage
  • Edit B-roll packages for WWF’s digital asset management system, the HIVE, and for other archival purposes as needed
Qualifications
  • Committed to building and strengthening a culture of inclusion within and across teams

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills required to work with stakeholders, designers, and other colleagues
  • Skilled with video cameras to perform basic recording of interviews and B-roll in studio and field locations
  • Proficient in the use of editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) and knowledge of various file formats and conversion options
  • Skilled with audio recording tools required
  • Preferred Software Experience 1-2 years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder. Experience with After Effects and Photoshop also desired.
  • Skilled in video research and editing, with attention to detail and nuances needed to aptly convey WWF stories
