Manage the Developer Operations and Site Reliability Engineering services that provide process, tooling, and monitoring to enable Software Engineering and achieve prioritized product roadmap goals. Lead cross functional teams and initiatives to deliver enterprise class software products which are highly available, performant, reliable, secure, and efficient within cost parameters. Lead a customer focused, agile engineering, and 24/7 operations function to deliver 99.99% availability and 3 sec page load times at 99% SLA for key SaaS product offerings in collaboration with Software Engineering and Product Management teams. Maintain & enhance the security posture of multiple SaaS products to meet compliance requirements and reduce business financial risks using IDPS, SIEM, WAF, Vulnerability Management, Zero trust Policies etc. Influence and implement security hardening across all internal and external infrastructure layers in AWS and Azure public clouds. Migrate key software products to Azure. Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery using Azure ASR. Increasingly fine tune and align cloud spend for AWS and Azure workloads while maintaining a lean organization with processes designed to adapt to changing demand requirements. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and automation to improve reliability, performance & security, increase productivity & consistency, and manage cost. Create, maintain, monitor, and enhance controls related to information technology and security operations to support the annual SOC 2 Type II audit and attestation. Build, maintain and enhance tooling and processes to support Incident, Problem, Change, and related and relevant Service Management capabilities. <5% domestic travel required.
Job Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent) plus 10 (ten) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related occupation.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time.” Required expertise/knowledge includes: Experience with: Windows Server, IIS, MSSQL; .Net, JavaScript, Python, Powershell; Azure, AWS, Datacenter Cloud Migrations, Cost Optimization; Application Performance Testing, Tuning, and Monitoring; Network, Storage, and Server Infrastructure Monitoring & Capacity planning.
