JOB DESCRIPTION


The Commercial Banks Procedures Team within Controls and Continuity Services supports the end-to-end management of online procedure libraries, including the following: initial library creation, publishing, ongoing maintenance, procedural communications, and managing the annual review and attestation of published procedures and supporting documentation.

All Applicants are required to be located in the following states: Chicago, IL

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring authorized approvals, and finalizing documents for publication
  • Responds to client requests with accuracy and within agreed timelines and established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
  • Conduct monthly business partner meetings to discuss trends, key metrics, etc.
  • Manage a queue of ongoing business as usual (BAU) change requests received from business partners for updates to published documents.
  • Ensure documents conform to prescribed templates and style guidelines by performing the following editing and publishing tasks:
  • Analyzing, recommending changes, and documenting procedures while identifying process gaps and offering alternative suggestions for documenting processes
  • Applying style standards and utilizing project processes and templates

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience editing and reformatting detailed procedural documents into succinct, easy to follow steps while identifying process gaps and offer alternatives
  • Comfortable using Excel to analyze data and development reporting for clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) and Teams
  • Degree in English/Writing or equivalent work experience, advanced level of English
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with technical/procedural writing, editing, and communication
  • Experience with and understanding of external style guides (E.g., Chicago Manual of Style, Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications, and AP Stylebook)
  • Ability to manage a queue of ongoing business as usual (BAU) change requests received from business partners for updates to published documents

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Aurora, JIRA, and XML
  • Experience in Commercial Bank Operations
