Responsibilities:

Our fully remote project manager will assist with project management and operations tasks, including planning and developing project plans; identifying and resolving barriers to effective and efficient workflows; adherence and training on standard operating procedures; and cross-functional team coordination.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about project management to join our fast-growing team to provide support in the following areas:

Project Management:

  • Complete tasks quickly and efficiently with the ability to appropriately manage time while assisting others.
  • Assist account owners and managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects through full project lifecycles to meet client requirements while maintaining oversight of the applicable budget, scope, and timeline.
  • Manage project coordination and day-to-day necessary activities to ensure project success while identifying and flagging task priorities.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Participate in conference calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and professionally communicate with cross-functional teams, exchanging information verbally and in writing through various platforms.
  • Develop and execute strategic project plans and timelines through project scheduling and project planning to identify and mitigate the potential for future risk.
  • Report compilation and documentation in support of client accounts.
  • Manage relationships between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Assign tasks and moderate task delegation in support of account owners and managers.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, including creating agendas, guiding conversations, and assigning after-action tasks.
  • Identify, source, and coordinate projects with external vendors in support of client accounts and internal programs.

Operations:

  • Problem-solve and remove obstacles through conflict management, negotiation, and critical thinking.
  • Plan and manage multiple projects or initiatives to improve organizational efficiency and client outcomes.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Assist with documenting and maintaining a formal system for standard operating processes, procedures, and responsibilities.
  • Assist with the management of information technology support tickets.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding administrative processes.

Requirements:

  • Clear verbal and written communicator
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a mind geared towards process, structure, and organization
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business management, public administration, political science, or other related fields
  • An adaptable leader who can provide clear direction, motivation, and support
  • Innovative thinker passionate about process improvement
  • Commitment to the continuous improvement of service quality and SE’s mission


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Asana, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
  • Interest in policy, public affairs, and politics
  • Familiarity with Agile and Kanban project management methodologies
