What You'll Do:
We are currently seeking an Associate Marketing Manager, Team Sports, who will play a key role in executing marketing plans and activities to support avid player outreach & grassroots engagement for the Team Sports Business Unit.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage the growth and continuous improvement of owned events, such as QBX football camps and the Chi-League Basketball Pro-Am
  • Identify gaps and manage the process of content creation through internal and external resources
  • Serve as support for our national sales team, providing asset guidance, sales enablement tools and general marketing direction for regionalized teams
  • Provide partnership support to Jr. NBA, NFL Youth, NCAA, AVP, FIBA 3x3 and numerous grassroots organizations to ensure all contractual elements are executed each year
  • Communicate marketing strategies and consumer needs in core team planning & sales meetings
  • Compile strategic marketing briefs for avid-focused product launches and initiatives, and provide clear, concise feedback to creative team on deliverables
  • Work with Marketing Director in the development and execution of grassroots platform activation specifically tailored to engage the target demographic globally
  • Lead the marketing plan development for avid-focused competitive game products, including tactical 360 plans to support popular game equipment
  • Oversee and manage Wilson ambassador contracts, marketing programs, and recruitment
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners in E-Commerce, PR, Social, Sales, Creative, Experiential, and Commercial to develop, refine, and deploy consumer relevant, on-brand initiatives that drive business results
  • Assess the value and develop a POV on grassroots partner opportunities uncovered for Team Sports across youth, high school, and adult age players
Attend and recap key events and programs to ensure they are executed to standard, are on-brand, and reach core target
What We're Looking For :

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related area; an MBA with a focus on marketing is preferred. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years consumer marketing experience on a brand or for a marketing agency. E-commerce experience is a plus.


Other qualifications include:
  • Digital and Social Media project experience a must. Experience working with content creators is desirable
  • Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills
  • Advanced Power Point skills – from content development to professional, streamlined formatting
  • Avid Fan – can speak authentically about sports, specifically football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball
  • Consumer Mindset - ability to design and execute consumer facing marketing strategies against business opportunities and trends in the marketplace
  • Positive Thinker - sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable items
  • Available to travel approximately 25% of the time, including work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required by events and business needs
  • Self-Motivated - empowered to take initiative & ownership, developing new programs and strategies, continually looking for ways to improve processes and platforms
  • Hyper Efficient - proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with strong organizational, communication and follow-through skills
  • Creative Problem Solver - high level of creativity, both with problem-solving and program development; must be able to generate creative ideas and work alongside creative in an intensely collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to work with limited resources and budgets
