Associate Financial Planner Jobs

We are working with our client Gather Financial Planning is seeking an Associate Financial Planner, to be based in their Falmouth, Maine office.

Requirements of the Associate Financial Planner:

• CFP® Professional or Candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of work experience (financial planning related field preferred).
• Experience with portfolio management software preferred.
• Passage of Series 65 or 66 exam, or IAR a plus.
• Experience with financial planning & tax planning software.

Responsibilities of the Associate Financial Planner:

• Prepares and updates financial plans.
• Prepares for and attends client meetings.
• Generates scenarios and financial projections.
• Creates and maintains high credibility relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Assists with portfolio management (design, trade requests, money movement).
• Collaborates with other members of the planning team on strategies.
