The University of Miami has a great opportunity for a Associate Director Women's Basketball Operations – Influence and Brand to work at the Coral Gables Campus.

Assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and other staff with all aspects of the WBB program with a specific focus on creative content, brand enhancement and serving as the NIL liaison.

Serve as the lead within WBB for all brand and influence needs for women’s basketball student-athletes and serve as the liaison for all NIL needs

  • Meet with coaches, staff and appropriate department staff to support NIL efforts.
  • Responsible for adhering to all NCAA, ACC and state policies and regulations around NIL
  • Work with appropriate department and campus units to update NIL policy, tip sheets and information for student-athletes, coaches and staff around NIL
  • Work with appropriate internal units to facilitate NIL education for student-athletes, including brand enhancement and influence for student-athletes.
  • Develop a plan for creating and implementing NIL resources for student-athletes

Coordinate all community service engagement opportunities for the women’s basketball program. Completes special assignments which require collecting, organizing and analyzing data and producing reports which may be the basis of significant decisions for Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Create creative content to be used by WBB staff, student-athletes and prospective student-athletes.

  • Demonstrate taste and understanding of video and recruiting trends
  • Execute and create consistent designs aligned with University of Miami ideals
  • Stay current with trends in recruiting, plan and execute graphics for social media and recruiting visits
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop design concepts

Create highlight and hype films, including gameday hype films for team, pre-ACC Tournament Highlight film, pre-NCAA Tournament Highlight film and post-season highlight film. Collaborate with other staff members to develop design concepts Travel to all away contests, attend all practices and be present for all on-campus recruiting visits. Responsible for maintaining compliance with NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference, institutional and departmental policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by Head Women’s Basketball Coach

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree is required. At least two years of collegiate athletic or related work experience required. Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills. Commitment to a responsibility to adhere to all policies, rules and regulations of the University of Miami, the Atlantic Coast Conference and the NCAA is required.
