Job Description

Are you ready to support the execution of outstanding online shopper and consumer experiences in support of the LEGO Brand and our retail partners?
This is an opportunity to deliver a significant impact to the growth of the LEGO Group. The Content & Merchandising team supports development of merchandising strategy, digital shelf improvement, and other digital merchandising activities for B2B eCommerce partners across the Americas in order to increase eCommerce sales.

Core Responsibilities
Ecommerce Content & Merchandising (80%)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Item Set Up, Account Leads, Search, Creative, and external partners (eStore & Salsify).
  • Use SEO tactics to improve product discoverability and search engine rankings. This includes ensuring titles, product bullets, product descriptions, and other copy elements are compelling, accurate, and incorporate relevant keywords to drive organic traffic and increase conversion rates.
  • Conduct test and learns and regular shelf auditing to identify trends, actionable insights, and opportunities to improve the digital shelf.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize product content (images, copy, BtF content, video, etc.) based on performance metrics, SEO standard processes, and other insight. Supervise digital shelf quality for continual optimization of content – adhering to retailer requirements.
  • Accountable for product launches at eCommerce retailers across North America and LATAM regions – planning and implementing product launches with all applicable selling information and enhanced content. Bring forward ideas to improve this process.
  • Act as a point of contact with eCommerce partners including Salsify, eStore, Bazaar Voice, and more to facilitate content syndication and ensure consistency across platforms and systems.
  • Resolve most effective product categorization, taxonomy, and navigation structure to improve the online shopping experience.

  • Consistently seek greater understanding of our customers’ marketing priorities, capabilities, and test and learn agendas to establish LEGO as a clear leader in shopper activation.
  • Stay at the forefront of digital evolution and understanding omnichannel strategies to champion new opportunities.
  • Demonstrate and role model proactive and forward-looking behaviors that deliver solutions for key seasons and launches.
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will contribute to the growth of the eCommerce business by providing digital merchandising support to our eCommerce retailers. This includes improving discoverability, online search rankings, conversion, and the overall shopper experience.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Collaborative and team oriented.
  • Experience with consumer-packaged goods and/or children’s category preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field with high level of academic achievement preferred; or equivalent working experience.
  • Outstanding grammar and written communication skills. Copywriting experience a plus.
  • Thrives and contributes best in a team setting.
  • Must be curious.
  • Experience with Salsify and/or eStore is a plus.
  • Self-starter who initiates and implements new ideas to improve the digital shelf.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in digital merchandising within eCommerce.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office with particular emphasis in Excel and Power Point.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese a plus!
  • Proficient in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays during the year to support new launches and peak seasons.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to create content with SEO in mind.
New Location Update
The current work location for this role is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. In 2025, we will transition to our new permanent office location at 1001 Boylston Street, Boston MA. Specific move dates for roles are to be determined and communicated in 2024.
