Associate Dean Of Spiritual Formation

The Associate Dean of Spiritual Formation’s primary responsibilities center upon providing leadership for Columbia International University’s spiritual formation initiatives, including chapel oversight and programmatic initiatives. As spiritual formation is a core priority of CIU, found in the mission statement, this person will provide leadership in an area of central importance.

• Develop and implement campus-wide discipleship programming
• Oversight of Campus Prayer Day activities
• Other duties as assigned
• Chapel oversight, including speakers and worship band
• Assist with Campus Service Day activities
• Small group development and implementation
• Extensive relationship building

• Development and implementation of programmatic structures on college campuses
• Master’s Degree Preferred
• Understanding of discipleship curriculum and its application on a college campus
• Proven work with campus ministry
• Proven practical ministry skills
• Significant work and experience on college campuses
• Pastoral experience
• Significant administrative skills
• Understanding and experience with assisting students in understanding and engaging their life purpose
