Mandiant’s Red Team members are responsible for simulating a wide variety of cyberattacks to help identify and fix weaknesses of an organization’s cybersecurity program. As an Associate Consultant, you will protect organizations from harm and address complex problems within a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing cybersecurity consulting services and support to our clients, including assessing and advising clients on both technical and process-based controls for all manner of environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Remote locations: Texas, USA; Iowa, USA; Illinois, USA; Indiana, USA; Kansas, USA; Louisiana, USA; Michigan, USA; Minnesota, USA; Missouri, USA; North Dakota, USA; Nebraska, USA; Ohio, USA; Oklahoma, USA; South Dakota, USA; Wisconsin, USA.Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity with a focus on offensive security
- 1 year of experience in three of the following areas: network security, wireless security, web application assessments, social engineering, scripting, cloud security, reverse engineering, or incident response
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and public speaking skills
- Experience in four or more of the following: network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, systems and network administration, project management, ActiveDirectory architecture, application development, incident response, source code review, reverse engineering
- Certifications related to offensive security including OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT INF or relevant SANS courses
- Experience in creating security tools and an understanding of underlying programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim or similar)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver further value to clients.
- Advise clients on security best practices for remediating discovered issues.
- Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations. Track and drive to closure any issues that impact the engagements and its value to clients.
- Expand your knowledge and use it with the team.
- Shadow, support, and ultimately execute offensive technical cyber security engagements of a varied nature.
