Associate Brand Manager

The Bayer Consumer Health ABM role is designed to provide a breadth of

experience to new Marketing talent with the goal to develop a solid

business fundamentals knowledge base that will propel their careers

forward. As an Associate Brand Manager, you will become an integral

part of the brand team.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

• Supports the strategic brand plans that not only deliver on annual and longer term financial objectives, but also protect brand equity and enhance brand health;
• Manages the execution of brand initiatives as identified and assigned by the Brand Manager;
• Provides an ongoing analysis of the brand and competitive environment;
• Draw accurate conclusions from financial and other quantitative data to make sound recommendations;
• Supports cross functional roles in day to day activities and meetings as well as project based work as needed.
• Based on knowledge gained from an in depth understanding of the brand and category, identify and recommend key initiatives to the brand manager;
• Works closely with the omnichannel manager to communicate brand strategy and ensures that the strategy is reflected in the executional plan;
• Presents finding to senior leadership;

Required Qualifications:

• Marketing competences: Learning and change agility, customer focus, action oriented/drives results, collaborates globally and locally, plans and aligns, drives stakeholder engagement, effectively manages suppliers.
• Marketing Brand Building: Excellent communication skills required.
• Potential to assess and react to complex technical information.
• Education: Knowledge equivalent to BS/BA degree (MBA desirable) plus 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a CPG/healthcare environment.
• Financial and Operational Acumen: Excellent financialmanagement skills to critically and objectively assess programs and investments versus results.
• Ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders.
• Ability to streamline operational processes and drive efficiency though the use of technology, with excellent problemsolving skills.
• P&L Management: Takes ownership of top and bottom line. Strategic management, planning, and execution abilities, including ability to focus on the "bigger picture".
• Analytical Acumen: Superior analytical ability, assessing different models and related outputs.
• Must be able to create an environment that encourages innovation and risk taking. ability to engage in positive/productive debate with the leaders of key internal constituent groups.
