Associate Asset Manager - Multifamily

We are working with an established, highly-successful CRE owner/operator that is looking to add an Asset Manager to help oversee a national portfolio of institutional-grade multifamily assets.

While the role will focus on managing the operational and financial performance of a 4k unit portfolio, you will also touch other aspects of the business as well - underwriting, strategic planning, development, etc.

Our client continues to raise/deploy capital in a disciplined way, creating long-term value for their investors, and this would be an opportunity to be part of that growth.

Experience:

• Ability to oversee and monitor relationships with JV partners, brokers, contractors, vendors, lenders, and legal counsel
• Conducting deep financial and operational analysis for a CRE portfolio (hold/sell, asset valuations, market analysis, etc.)
• Assisting Investments team with due diligence on new investment opportunities, and capital improvements to existing portfolio
• Visiting properties to monitor performance, understand the competitive set, and cultivate market relationships
• 3+ years of direct asset management experience, working with a CRE owner/operator, asset manager, or PE firm – multifamily required
• Bachelor’s degree in RE, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or similar
• Collaborating across the organization to develop budgets and business plans
• Implementing/overseeing strategy at both the property, and portfolio level, with the ability to identify opportunities for performance improvement
