Your role at Baxter:


As an Associate Assembler you will supports the operation of the Plant by ensuring established targets are met and exceeded. This role will require capable knowledge of building some products and subject matter expert for some job functions. You will participate with engineering and quality to work through challenges on the line to solve issues as they arise, and you will show leaderships skills and be a leader/coach to your peers. You will embrace continuous learning to gain knowledge of all product types associated with the work area. Striving to attain the skill sets to address builds that are more challenging.
What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for assuring safety and quality in all actions. The role, including all day to day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services.
  • Assist team members to ensure a quality product and smooth workflow.
  • Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned product assemblies following standard work instructions.
  • Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities.
  • Complete work in prescribed time period, moving completed component or assembly to designated area.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate issues to leadership.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
  • Willingness and ability to support business needs including overtime.

Education and experience:

  • HS diploma or local equivalent
