We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant General Counsel to join our esteemed client's legal team. The Assistant General Counsel will play a crucial role in providing expert legal guidance, strategic counsel, and policy support on a range of regulatory, litigation, and legislative advocacy matters. This position requires a solid background in general regulatory practice and environmental law, as well as exceptional communication and analytical skills.

Note: The candidate should possess experience in environmental law and advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize substantial experience in general regulatory practice and environmental law to guide decision-making and provide actionable insights.
• Engage in strategic counseling, plan development, and the execution of supporting tactics.
• Provide expert legal counsel, strategic advice, and policy support on regulatory, litigation, and legislative advocacy issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective legal strategies.
• Assist in the development of legal policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Analyze complex legal issues and provide recommendations to address potential challenges.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar for practicing law.
• Ability to process complex, technical, and abstract information to formulate effective messaging strategies and action plans.
• Extensive experience in general regulatory practice and environmental law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
