Job Description
Summary
Assistant Teachers are responsible for assisting the classroom Lead Teacher with general supervision and opening duties. They must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, and be able to relate well with children. This position is full-time.
Duties
  • Provide input for bi-annual assessment of children's development
  • Help children establish good habits of personal hygiene; change diapers and assist with toilet training
  • Help to maintain a neat and organized classroom
  • Supervisor activities and ensure safety
  • Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher
  • Maintain daily open communication with families
