Behavioral Health (BH), a division of CRJ, has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs.

Responsibilities


CRJ wants you to join our growing team of compassionate and dependable Assistant Program Directors to support the wonderful individuals we serve!


This is a full-time, 40hrs/week, exempt position. The schedule for this position is flexible and will be working in our New Haven, CT location.


This position is also eligible for benefits and a sign-on bonus of $5,000!


Starting salaries for this position are $70k (provisional license) and $75k (fully licensed).

In this role, you will be a part of a dynamic behavioral health team comprised of therapists, case managers, and psychiatric prescribers. Primary duties involve assisting the Program Director with supervision of staff, providing coverage in Program Director's absence, as well as providing individual therapy, group therapy, and intake assessments for clients.


Qualifications


  • Experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment both group and individual therapy required.
  • Experience with third party billing preferred.
  • Experience working with the criminal justice population preferred.
  • Experienced in clinical supervision in an outpatient program required.
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field and relevant clinical experience.
  • Behavioral Health Licensure such as: LCSW/LMHC/LPC/ required.
  • Experienced in providing Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Treatment, Seeking Safety Treatment, and working with criminal justice population preferred.
