Assistant Parts Manager Jobs

Martin Motorsports is looking for a Assistant Parts Manager to join our team at our Harley-Davidson Louisville/BMW Motorcylces location.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need
• Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
• Enforce safety requirements
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff
• Supervises stock order procedures
• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
• Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
• Ensure that all employees follow their assigned work schedules and adhere to the absenteeism, reporting and tardiness policy
• Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with customers, employees, peers
• Advanced in computer skills including point-of-sale, automotive parts, and inventory management
• A minimum of 3 years in the retail/powersports industry with some leadership responsibility is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage all financial and managerial aspects
• Highly energetic team leader, strategic thinker, and performance driver with a winning mentality and competitive drive
