ProAmpac is looking for you to join our team!


  • Work as a team member, and participate in all activities in the press department.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to all levels of organization
  • Prepare mill rolls for press.
  • Monitor and control inks pH and Viscosity.
  • Have the correct ink available for the next order.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Be prepared to fill in as an operator when needed.
  • Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.
  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college preferred
  • Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
  • Have pump washes and deck cleaning supplies ready for the next change.
  • Work experience with computers and other business equipment
  • This position requires the annual completion of Hazardous Waste Management training – provided by ProAmpac
  • Two or three years of work experience in a related industry
  • Assist all press operators as needed.
  • Assist in Training.
  • Remove, prepare and store finished rolls.
  • Have the correct paper ready to go on the press (on turret, if applicable) for the next order.
  • Assist in cylinder and anilox changes.
  • High School GED or Diploma
  • Change gears.
  • Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor, Manager, or Lead.
  • Assist in cleaning ink stations and preparing stations for the next order.
  • Wash and remove plates from the previous jobs; apply green-back and store.
  • Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards Training
  • Prepare plates and gears on the correct cylinders for the next order.
