ASSISTANT MANAGER, SOCIAL COMMERCE


US E-COMMERCE & DIGITAL – NEW YORK CITY


COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate.


In an effort to accelerate our digital ambitions, we seek a Social Commerce Assistant Manager to trailblaze a new era of e-commerce for the US Market. Along with the e-commerce team and its cross-functional partners, this role will provide strategic guidance and execution to bring new conversion enablers to life across the social media user journey.


This role will focus on the core of customer relationships, developing advocacy strategies to grow repeat customers as well as acquisition plans to capture new audiences, all through the lens of social conversion. Reporting into the Director of Digital Experience, you will get to work across both Luxury and Consumer Beauty to futureproof the Beauty journey.


The Assistant Manager of Social Commerce is a well-rounded digital professional with passion and experience in the e-commerce industry, a background in digital fundamentals and growth tactics to evolve the brands’ presence globally, aligned to the broader strategies and objectives of the business. A fluency in Social Media platforms is a must.


In this role you will be responsible for:


Optimizing the User Journey:


  • Identifying new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current brand offering
  • Leveraging data and measurement to glean insights and constantly optimize, socialize and advocate insights and broader strategy both internally and externally
  • Launching selling channels on social media while advising and implementing best-in-class launch strategies to drive traffic and meet customer expectations of our brands
  • Coordinating with eCommerce stakeholders to implement social-style projects & tests
  • Mapping user journeys across full funnel digital activations (media, social, e-commerce, etc.)
  • Connecting and analyzing the dots between social activity and retailer.com site traffic and sales activity
  • Tracking and sharing out brand lift studies to emulate across digital
  • Developing and implementing a 360 strategy for growing social communities at our brands
  • Collaborating closely with the Paid Performance Media team to curate full-funnel customer persona strategies


Building Community & Consumer Relationships:


  • Evolving enterprise content & social strategies to drive brand equity, customer growth and sales (business development, project planning & management, activations, optimizations)
  • Defining bespoke strategic partnerships to co-develop shoppable experiences that innovate for consumers’ daily lives (social, content, UX, collaborations, etc)


Forging the future of Advocacy & Social Commerce:


  • Evaluating and testing new features as partner offerings evolve, with an eye towards scalability
  • Concept workstreams for evolved methods of working across fulfillment, operations, IT, data, brands and finance to include new methods of delivery and customer experience under social commerce
  • Coordinating cross-functionally to lead projects that integrate Media, e-commerce and individual social channels for disruptive and bespoke digital activations
  • Collaborating with Retail.com division to optimize and strengthen Coty brand relationships in equal measure across retail, e-commerce, and social commerce opportunities
  • Developing shopfronts on social media and affiliation models with micro-influencers, key opinion consumers (KOCs) and Field Teams
  • Acting as an internal and external advocate, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive programs forward


Qualifications


We’d love to see candidates who have:


Essential:


  • Focus on results and tenacity to get things done on time and on budget despite internal and external obstacles
  • Proactivity and start-up mindset: ability to move, propose new ideas and take actions before asked
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience in Digital
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Ability to digest data to develop & execute multi-channel strategies
  • Knowledge in e-commerce, user journeys, social listening and Loyalty (strategy, planning, market and channel analysis)
  • Success collaborating and x-functional relationship building
  • Expertise across various social networks (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Live, etc)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Project management skills


Desirable:


  • Working knowledge of software landscape for tools that measure social listening, influencer marketing, content performance, email and SMS marketing CRMs, etc.
  • Experience with cutting-edge social commerce/community management efforts (e.g. social listening, shoppable interactive media, live selling, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of US mass and luxury beauty and/or CPG (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations), as well as other growth categories

Base Salary Range: $70,000-90,000
