Assistant Manager, Digital Content


Newark, NJ / Chicago, IL / London / Haguenau


The Digital Content Coordinator supports the M&M’S Global Digital team in executing all content initiatives, including developing content briefs, managing product and lifestyle photography, and supporting brand campaign launches, for the M&M’S Global Digital business. He/she will also work with the regional digital and brand marketing teams in executing marketing campaigns to drive 1P data collection and website conversion.


This associate will manage the creative development for all products and content and will ensure all M&M’s content campaigns are executed with the highest level of quality and consistent with the M&M’S brand guidelines through a rigorous QA process.


What are we looking for?


  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Fluent in English; French and/or German-speaking a plus
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience at a similar level
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Amplience, Acquia, AEM, etc.)
  • Ability to make business decisions using data and test-and-learn approach
  • Creative thinker, with strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of B2C ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Salesforce, Commercetools, etc.) and ERP/OMS systems
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture/Adobe Analytics is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration


What would be your key responsibilities?


  • Partner with regional marketing teams and brand teams to execute brand launches and campaigns.
  • Brief the creative team on assets required for the website and our owned channels such as email and ensure required project deadlines are met.
  • Own partnership with translation agency and manage Global translation requests.
  • Contribute to annual marketing strategy and planning processes as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of best practices, industry trends, benchmarks, and competitive activity.
  • Manage content agencies and provide feedback and guidance in partnership with the Global Experience Director.
  • Oversee the product photography workflow, including placing orders for samples and coordinating with the creative agency.
