- Investigate claims by attending site visits, inspections, gathering and reviewing documents and interviewing witnesses
- Work independently and with a team exercising excellent judgment and both strategic and tactical thinking
- Specialized knowledge and experience
- Conduct research and analyze legal issues
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, client relationship, and team skills
- Prioritize and handle the workload and simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines in a changing, fast paced environment
- Lead, handle, and balance a high volume of matters and assignments
- Expertise in legal and analytical work with a business-oriented pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs and legal memoranda
- Provide legal guidance to organizational clients
- Admitted to practice law in Texas or another state with the ability to pursue admission in Texas
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A Juris Doctor degree
- 3 or more years of work experience as a litigation attorney
- Some level of trial experience
- Experience litigating in both federal and state courts
- Licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions
- Experience managing people
