Job Description
Location: Gonzales, TX


Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $85,000.00 USD Annually


Description: Animal feed company outside of San Antonio, TX is looking for an experienced Assistant Feed Mill Manager


Relocation assistance is available (moving expenses + $5K)


Responsibilities


  • Train and further develop manufacturing team
  • Work with Feedmill manager on capital projects, govt. requirements, personnel issues, further improving overall operations - Respond to emergency situations at any time
  • Managing and organizing feed production with manufacturing team
  • Review and reconcile daily ingredient inventories - Troubleshoot and minimize downtime
  • Manage production records in accordance with regulations
  • Work closely with feed delivery, ingredient procurement, quality assurance, safety, and maintenance teams


Requirements


  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • 5+ years feedmill experience
  • Degree in Feed Science/Agriculture preferred (not required)
  • Hands on approach to leadership and problem solving
